On Tuesday, January 28th, 2020 Apple, Inc. (AAPL) released its Q1 2020 earning report. As you may know, the company reported top-line revenue of $91.8 billion, an increase of 9% year over year. The company’s net income was $22 billion.
Apple picked up 33.6 million Apple TV users in the U.S. alone. However most of them are not paying subscribers to their streaming service. Streaming subscription revenue is set to begin in 52 weeks.
At the end of 2019, Apple, Inc. saw strong demand for their iPhone 11 and iPhone Pro models. It was the second-highest quarterly iPhone revenue total in Apple’s history, behind its 2017 holiday quarter. The company also saw growth once again in their wearables category, which includes Apple Watch and AirPods. This marked the first quarter in which revenue for the category exceeded $10 billion.

It also sells its products through its retail and online stores, and direct sales force, as well as through third-party cellular network carriers, wholesalers, retailers, and value-added resellers.
